WHO ARE WE?

Amal is a new, original project founded by law students, who just like you are motivated to make a positive impact through their legal education, and who are aiming to democratise research and knowledge of international law. A podcast hosting expert guest speakers, insightful articles published online, events, and more ways to learn and discuss law are waiting to for all those interested to dive into the legal world. Students, legal professionals, researchers or anyone curious about international law belongs to this community. We are constantly looking for volunteers eager to contribute to the AMAL project.

Which of these is your superpower?

Collaborations and Outreach
tasks include

Research and propose new guest speakers and experts to invite on the podcast.

Research and propose relevant topics for articles and resources to be used in them.

The timely commitment requested for this position is a minimum of 3 hours a week. You will be working closely with the founders. We are flexible and understand that some periods may be busier than others; we take into account e.g. exam season, holidays, etc. and share all tasks evenly between team members, depending on their abilities.

Media and Marketing
tasks include

Creating and designing posts and other content for our social media platforms.

Writing short and catchy pitches to be used for promotion and marketing in social media.

The timely commitment requested for this position is a minimum of 2 hours a week. You will be working closely with the founders. We are flexible and understand that some periods may be busier than others; we take into account e.g. exam season, holidays, etc. and share all tasks evenly between team members, depending on their abilities.

IT, sound and tech
tasks include

Editing podcast episodes from provided recordings.

Editing and designing other necessary sound files: intros, outros, short promotional videos, depending on need.

Posting provided articles on the AMAL website
